Dungeon Crawlers Radio had the oppertunity to sit down with Writers of the Future winner Kary English.  We talked to her about Writers of the Future, her Hugo nomination, writing, and so much more!
Kary English grew up in the snowy Midwest where she avoided siblings and frostbite by reading book after book in a warm corner behind a recliner chair. She blames her one and only high school detention on Douglas Adams, whose Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy caused her to laugh out loud while reading it behind her geometry textbook.
Today, Kary still spends most of her time with her head in the clouds and her nose in a book. To the great relief of her parents, she seems to be making a living at it. Her fiction includes several short stories, a planetary fantasy novel forthcoming in late 2015, and a fantasy saga about a little girl and an orange kitten. A student of New York Times bestsellers David Farland and Tracy Hickman, Kary aspires to make her own work detention-worthy.
Kary is a Writers of the Future winner whose fiction has appeared in the Grantville Gazette, Daily Science Fiction, and Mike Resnick’s Galaxy’s Edge.

Larry Correia is an American fantasy novelist, known for his first book Monster Hunter International, despite it being self-published, reached the Entertainment Weekly bestseller list in April 2008, after which he received a publishing contract with Baen Books. Monster Hunter International was re-released in 2009 and was on the Locus bestseller list in November 2009. The sequel, Monster Hunter Vendetta, was a New York Times bestseller. The third book in the series, Monster Hunter Alpha, was released in July 2011 and was also a New York Times bestseller. Correia was a finalist for the John W. Campbell award for best new science fiction/fantasy writer of 2011. Warbound, the third book in Correia's The Grimnoir Chronicles series, received a nomination for the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 2014.
The Dead Six series started as an online action fiction collaboration with Mike Kupari (Nightcrawler) at the online gun forum "The High Road" as the "Welcome Back Mr Nightcrawler" series of posts. These works predated the publishing of Monster Hunter International through Baen.
Correia's works use strong magical themes and often include mythical monsters, such as vampires and werewolves. His stories are typically action-oriented and are noted for the detailed accuracy of firearms usage.

Drawn to sculpting, fabrication and painting, Logan has demonstrated his abilities as a special effects artist, recently fulfilling contracts with Ballet West, Salt Lake Comic Con and Red Coral Crew, a film production company founded by his brother.

Writers Cubed, a non-profit organization, is the proud creator of the Teen Author Boot Camp, one of the largest teen writing conferences in the nation. Each spring, nearly five hundred teens participate in a day-long event at Utah Valley University to learn writing skills from their favorite  authors, including many New York Times bestsellers. The conference is also available to teens across the world via internet classes. Writers Cubed also sponsors other writing programs such as CubeReads: Book Club in a Box; school presentations; writing contests, and much more.
Anastasia Dragunov is a professional cosplayer and alternative model from the United States.
