The Finger Trap Episode

Dungeon Crawlers Radio welcomes back the man, the legend the author, Johnny Worthen!
Johnny will be on the show talking about his latest novel, The Finger Trap!
Tony Flaner is a malingering part-time comedian, full-time sarcastic, who’s never had it hard, and never finished a thing in his life. He’s had twelve years to prepare for his divorce and didn’t. He had his entire life to choose a career and hasn’t. Now time’s up, and he’s in a world of trouble. But it gets worse. A first date and a drunken party ends with Tony facing prison for the murder of a girl he hardly knew.
Other than that, it was a pretty great party.
To save himself, wise-cracking Tony must discover who the mysterious girl was, what she was involved in, and what the hell she saw in him in the first place. Their lives are linked together at the ends of a Chinese finger trap, like life and death, friends and enemies, arugula quiche and pigs knuckles.

Robert J Defendi has worked on many projects. He was one of the writers for Savage Seas for the game Exalted. He’s done a good bit of work for Spycraft, Shadowforce Archer and the Stargate SG-1 roleplaying game. He wrote the current incarnation of Spacemaster. As the publisher of Final Redoubt press, he designed and released the critically acclaimed setting The Echoes of Heaven. He’s also done fiction for Writers of the Future, When Darkness Comes, and The Echoes of Heaven. He’s the author of the successful podcast audiobook Death by Cliche. Julie Frost writes every shade of speculative fiction and lives in Utah with her family and a collection of anteaters and Oaxacan carvings, some of which intersect. Her short fiction has appeared in Cosmos, Unlikely Story, Plasma Frequency, Stupefying Stories, and many other venues, and has been a Finalist at Writers of the Future and the Hidden Prize for Prose.
